Join us as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday!
In 2026, the United States marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a once-in-a-generation milestone known as America 250. To celebrate this historic occasion, the City of Normandy Park invites residents of all ages to take part in a special week of free, family-friendly activities that bring history to life through hands-on experiences, creativity, learning, and community connection.
From meeting Betsy Ross and exploring pioneer life to creating patriotic crafts, decorating bicycles, and gathering for a spectacular fireworks display, these events offer fun and meaningful ways to reflect on our nation’s past while celebrating the community spirit that continues to shape our future. Join us as we commemorate 250 years of American history and create new memories together.
