Arbor Day Poster Contest

Spring in Normandy Park 2021

February 17, 2026

The City of Normandy Park is honoring Arbor Day and wants you to celebrate with us!

As part of the festivities, the city is hosting an all-ages art poster contest celebrating this year’s theme, “Rooted Together.” Just as trees are connected through vast underground root systems that support and strengthen one another, we are connected through our community — growing stronger when we care, create, and stand together. Use your creativity to show how trees and people are linked, and bring this powerful connection to life through your art.

There will be seven winning entries, one from each of the following categories: Preschool, Elementary school grades K-3 and grades 4-5, Middle school, high school, and adult. Entries may be used for outreach, education, and future tree-related programs and events.

First-place winners for each category will receive a prize.

Entry forms can be found on the city website at www.normandyparkwa.gov or contact City Hall at 206.248.7603.

All posters are due to the City of Normandy Park by April 15, 2026.

Posters can be mailed or delivered to us at the following location:
