Announcing the next Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday, November 13th
The City Council continues its quarterly gatherings intended to connect with Normandy Park residents. This is a unique opportunity for the City Council to listen to the public and establish a two-way dialogue with residents.
Join us Wednesday, November 13th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at City Hall. You can meet your City Council members to hear about sustainability, discuss potential revenue stream opportunities that could lessen the tax burden, and learn more about upcoming capital improvement projects. Afterward, we will open the floor for a conversation with residents about the topics you want to discuss. We even hope to have some fun activities to kick things off. We’re looking forward to your active participation. See you on November 13th!
Public Hearing for the 2025-2026 Budget will be held on November 12th
Are you interested in the City’s budget? If so, join us on Tuesday, November 12th, to learn more. The City must approve the 2025-2026 Budget by the end of the year, so the Council will hold a public hearing and have its first reading of the ordinance that will approve this document. At the meeting, you will learn more about the City’s significant expenditures, what programs are being improved, which capital projects are being considered, and how the City will protect its fiscal sustainability.
The biennial budget document presents the overall plan for allocating City resources to ensure public safety, enhance the quality of life and natural resources, and maintain and develop the City’s infrastructure. Please join us on Tuesday, November 12th, at 7:00 p.m. to learn more.
If you have any questions about this or other City topics, please email me at aarrington@normandyparkwa.gov. Have a great week!
