Office of the City Manager
Weekly Report – June 12, 2020
City Manager Mark Hoppen
Possible COVID-19 at City Hall. An office employee may have COVID-19. The employee is at home and was tested yesterday. Some other employees were exposed and are in quarantine and will be tested or will observe 14-day quarantine. One such employee tested negative already (that’s good). Other more remote employees are out of the office for at least 72 hours, except one who is processing bills. The office is being disinfected. The fixed work attendance schedule to which everyone committed is the limit to employee presence in the office, and so far this has been observed. The fixed attendance calendar is available in Outlook. We are establishing a COVID-19 checklist that must be filled out and submitted to the City Clerk (and to the immediate supervisor) prior to coming into work. Temperature should be taken at home prior to completing this work pre-screening checklist. Any negative answer to this work pre-screening checklist means that the employee must stay home for 72 hours or for 14 days depending on the situation. Any questions, call Brooks Wall, City Clerk and HR Manager.
“An office employee may have COVID-19.”
