Public Health Data

Public Health—Seattle & King County announce daily updates to COVID-19 cases and deaths in King County through a data dashboard.

Gov. Jay Inslee and the WA Department of Health have published the Risk-Assessment Dashboard. This tool helps gauge when and how to best lift restrictions around “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” in Washington. It is updated every Wednesday.

Declaration of Emergency

A City of Normandy Park Declaration of Emergency is in effect. City employees will work from home during this period with limited, sequenced exceptions. Employees will be screened upon arrival at the office for temperature and sent home for 14 days if any fever or symptoms are noted. All city meetings are canceled during this period unless held remotely, consistent with OPMA. All business with City Hall will be by remote Zoom appointment or arranged drop-off only.

Normandy Park’s Play Safe Plan

The plan for reopening our parks has been structured into phases to support safe and healthy play.

Phase 1 – Open all parks.

Phase 2 (Current) – Open community garden. Allow outdoor recreation activities with 5 or fewer people.

Phase 3 – Allow outdoor recreation activities with 50 or fewer people.

Phase 4 – Open the recreation center, park restrooms, athletic fields, and playgrounds.
