$30.00-$34.25/per hour DOE

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Director to oversee the daily operations of our preschool program. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, enriching, and nurturing environment for children to thrive. This role involves leading a team of talented teachers, collaborating with the lead teacher to develop engaging curriculum and activities, and maintaining effective communication with families.

Job Description

The Preschool Director is responsible to the City Manager for the management of the Pre-School Program. This person is responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing, and coordinating, of the program as well as providing classroom instruction to one or more preschool classes as needed.  This person plans, presents, evaluates and assists with the educational and recreational activities of preschool age children enrolled in the preschool program. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Dipolama or G.E.D
• 3+ years of experience working with children and at least 1 year in a leadership role
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• An AA or BA in a related field
• 45 credits in Early Childhood Education
