At the February 9, 2021 City Council meeting, the Normandy Park Council Members voted to place the Levy Lid Lift renewal for voter consideration at the November 2, 2021 general election.

 The City is now seeking volunteers for Pro and Con Committees to prepare statements on the proposed Levy Lid Lift.

How to Apply for a Committee

Committee appointments will be determined during the regular meeting of the Normandy Park City Council on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Persons interested in applying for one of the Committee positions should submit name, contact information, and a brief statement as to why you would like to serve on one of the committees.

Please submit to Brooks Wall, City Clerk, by emailing bwall@normandyparkwa.gov or dropping off at City Hall, 801 SW174th Street, Normandy Park, WA 98166. The deadline for signing up is Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

 Committee Specifics

Each Pro and Con statement is limited to 200 words and is due no later than 4:30 p.m. on August 3. Any rebuttal statements are due by August 6. There is a limit of three members per Committee; however, each Committee may seek the advice of any person or persons.
