NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Normandy Park, Washington, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom. The purpose of the hearing will be to take public testimony concerning draft Ordinance No. 1025 regarding rooftop decks in single family zones. The purpose of this amendment is to provide for the regulation of rooftop decks as outdoor occupancy spaces.

The purpose of this notice is to invited interested parties to testify or submit written evidence or information regarding the action. Such comments become part of the record. Upon completion of the public hearing the Planning Commission shall forward its recommendation to the City Council. The decision of the City Council on this action may be appealed to the Growth Management Hearings Board.

The SEPA responsible official has determined that this Type V action is categorically exempt (WAC 197-11-800) from the requirements of Chapter 43.21 RCW.
The applicant is the City of Normandy Park Community Development Department. A copy of the draft ordinance is available for review on the City website, and hardcopies can be requested.
