Notice of Public Hearing – Planning Commission

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the City of Normandy Park, Washington, will hold a public hearing on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the hearing will be to take public testimony concerning draft ordinance No. 1054 regarding Title 18 Zoning, whose amendments are intended outcomes of the 2021 Economic Development Report implementing identified goals and policies in the Economic Development Element. Proposed code amendments to focus on rehabilitating the retail and office leasing experience and use in the city’s commercial areas and to propose amendments to improve regulatory code clarity for redevelopment of commercial, mixed use, and multifamily residential zones through the use of specialized density tools.
