Community Grant Program
The City of Normandy Park is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for our community groups for the 2024 fiscal year. Do you have an idea to make the community a better place? The City of Normandy Park wants to help you with funding from the Community Grant Program.
What is the basic grant information?
- Grant awards can range from a minimum of $200 to a maximum of $5,000.
- All applications received will be reviewed, evaluated, and awarded by the City.
- Projects must serve the purpose of fostering community connections.
Who can apply?
The purpose of this funding is to foster community connections. So, community funding is available to community groups for projects that build and strengthen connections within Normandy Park. People of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities are encouraged to apply.
Who is not eligible?
- Individuals not working with a group
- Political organizations
What projects are not eligible?
- Projects/events that do not engage or benefit the community
- Projects/events outside Normandy Park city limits
What can be funded?
Cultural events, educational opportunities, training, art projects, and social gatherings are examples of what you can propose to bring your community together. Be creative!
What makes a strong grant request?
Be brief, concise, and clear. Make each point understandable. Provide accurate and honest information and include realistic plans. Be organized and logical. Many applications fail because the reviewers cannot follow the thought process of the applicant or because parts of the application do not fit together.
