Bird Walk at Marine View Park

Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley, from South Sound Nature School on a guided walk to discover birds at Marine View Park in Normandy Park, WA. After a brief introduction and presentation, the group will walk the forest to search for wildlife. Class will focus on local bird identification and behavior. Birding is a fascinating recreational activity, and you will learn to talk about what you are hearing & seeing. Marine View Park has both forest & sound habitats which leads to a great bird diversity. We will ask you to fine tune your senses to notice the slightest bird activity. Discussing the importance of studying the birds in your backyard! Binoculars are recommended but not required.
