Bird Walks at Nature Trails Park
Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley, from South Sound Nature School on a guided walk to discover birds in Nature Trails Park. After a brief introduction and presentation, the group will walk the park trails to search for wildlife. Class will focus on local bird identification and behavior. Birding is a fascinating recreational activity, and you will learn to talk about what you are hearing & seeing. We will ask you to fine tune your senses to notice the slightest bird activity. Discussing the importance of studying the birds in your backyard! Binoculars are recommended but not required. Here we could see anything from Bald Eagles to Pacific Wrens and any of the Fall Migratory Species.
