Join Naturalist Kevin O’Malley, from South Sound Nature School on a guided walk to discover birds at Walker Preserve in Normandy Park, WA. After a brief introduction and presentation, the group will walk the forest to search for wildlife. Class will focus on local bird identification and behavior. Birding is a fascinating recreational activity, and you will learn to talk about what you are hearing & seeing. We will ask you to fine tune your senses to notice the slightest bird activity. Discussing the importance of studying the birds in your backyard! Binoculars are recommended but not required.
