Bloodworks Northwest Pop-Up Clinic

Bloodworks is still trying to make up blood collection losses from the 2nd half of December, when icy road conditions and snow caused many donors to cancel their blood donation appointments. Blood supplies plummeted to such low levels that Bloodworks was forced to issue a CODE RED alert through local media channels. Blood supplies have improved but are still below levels needed to maintain an adequate blood supply for patients in our community. It will take a steady stream of donors over the coming weeks and months to recoup.
