Part-Time Summer Preschool Assistant Teacher

Salary

$18.36-$26.38/per hour DOE

Job Summary

This person will work closely with the Head Teacher to plan, present, evaluate, and assist in the educational and recreational activities of preschool-age children enrolled in the summer program.

This is a seasonal, part-time afternoon position available only during the summer. Teaching hours are 20 hours per week from June 23rd to June 27th, from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Please note that there will be no Preschool Camp during the week of June 30th to July 4th. From July 7th to July 31st, teaching hours will increase to 32 hours per week.

Note: This position depends on adequate enrollment in each class and is subject to cancellation if not received.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desired but not required.
