Still time to participate in Light the Park!
Decorate your home with festive lights and earn a chance to win a congratulatory yard sign and an award for the best light display.
Normandy Park’s Light the Park was created to honor homeowners who provide a festive, bright display in the winter months. The Normandy Park Arts Commission, in partnership with the Friends of Normandy Park Foundation, will be on the lookout for fantastic light displays on Wednesday, December 13th, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm. You can help spread the holiday cheer in Normandy Park by decorating your house for the holidays! Awards are limited, but we aim to give as many as possible. Be sure to keep your lights on in December and join the fun.
Plan to Attend the City’s Newest Event – the Solstice Soiree
You’re invited to join our first-ever Solstice Soiree! On Saturday, December 16th, 6:00 – 9:00 pm, join your neighbors and the Normandy Park Arts Commission for an evening of music and art, presenting the Orchestra of Flight, a 32-piece orchestral ensemble, and a handbell choir performance by Grace Lutheran.
The event is being held at the Normandy Park Community Club (The Cove), and doors open at 6:00 pm. The Handbell choir begins at 6:15 pm, followed by the Orchestra of Flight. Light appetizers and cake will be served to celebrate Normandy Park’s 70th anniversary. Suggested Dress: Semi-formal Sparkly Solstice Attire. All ages are welcome.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with me at aarrington@normandyparkwa.gov.
Have a great week!
