4th of July Car Parade
The Normandy Park Community Club is continuing a favorite tradition in a new way! Please come to the 4th of July Car Parade at 10 am on July 4th. The parade will run down Marine View Drive, starting at Marvista Elementary and ending at City Hall Park. If you want to join in on the parade, arrive at Marvista Elementary parking lot at 9 am. Candy will be back again this year! And, thanks to the Friends of Normandy Park, a fun stagecoach and horse will be part of the parade! There will be no large gathering at the Cove when the parade is complete to protect the public.

4th of July Fireworks
The City of Normandy Park is a special place for many reasons. One reason many families appreciate our fair City this time of year is that fireworks are allowed on the 4th of July. While the discharge is permitted, it is also regulated. The following rules must be followed.
- Fireworks may be discharged within city limits from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on July 3rd and from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on July 4th.
- You must be on private property (with permission of the property owner) – it is unlawful to discharge any fireworks on any public property. Public property includes parks, public open space, public playgrounds, public streets, public roads, or other publicly owned property in Normandy Park.
Please consider no fireworks this year! The combination of the high heat we are experiencing and no rain in the forecast will increase the possibility of fire when discharging fireworks. Have fun, but always be safe!
Proud to Announce – Paws on Patrol
Normandy Park Police Department (NPPD) is currently recruiting four-legged residents and their human companions to join our new Paws on Patrol program. As a member, you will have the opportunity to attend a presentation that will help you become the extra eyes and ears for suspicious activity and learn how to report to 9-1-1 accurately. Participating dogs will receive an NPPD badge dog tag!
To register for the program and receive an invitation to the training, please stop by City Hall to fill out a registration form or email Officer Erynn Mast at emast@normandyparkwa.gov.
