On Tuesday, August 13th, the City Council held its regular monthly meeting. Here are the meeting highlights to help keep you informed. The City Council authorized staff to continue working on a Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Grant to improve Marvista Park. Staff has applied for a grant related to the Marvista Park playground area. It has a 50% match requirement, so if we succeed, we must allocate approximately $365,000 towards this project.

The City of Normandy Park has over 100 acres of parkland, all of which are open to the public. Currently, the City manages seven named parks, one named preserve, and a variety of open spaces. Each provides a variety of recreation amenities and experiences for the Normandy Park community to enjoy.
