Information on the Proposition #1 Ballot Issue – As part of the August 2nd Primary Election, Normandy Park residents will be asked to vote on Proposition #1, which will authorize the city to issue a bond that will be used to construct a new Civic Center.
To help residents decide how they want to vote, I wanted to provide some informational resources that will help you learn more about the Civic Center Project and the Bond.

On Tuesday, July 12th, the City Council had its regular monthly meeting. Here are the meeting highlights. The City Council received its annual briefing from the South King County Housing and Homelessness Partnership (SKHHP). This presentation presented an overview of the 2023 plan and budget priorities for review. As a member of SKHHP, this also allows the City Council to provide feedback to SKHHP regarding the proposed plan before its adoption by the SKHHP Executive Board in August.

Please join us on Tuesday, August 2nd, 6:00-8:00 PM at City Hall Park for the annual National Night Out celebration. National Night Out is a national community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. It is a great way to meet your Police Officers, City Councilmembers, and neighbors. Free pizza, music, and family fun will be provided. We hope to see you there!
